Hi kids....it's mom!

Do you find, like I do, that one of life's fun things is to throw new and exciting 'stuff' your way?

Jack & I married in 1970 and have seen so many things change. Mostly for the better - in fact I can say that all are for the better in some way shape of form. But, some of this things just really leave us scratching our heads! That is mostly in the electronic and computer age we are in.


I remember when I was a senior in High School in San Luis Obispo, Cal. that our home economics class took a field trip to the nearby college, Cal Poly, and saw a microwave oven. It was huge! It filled the whole half of the classroom we were in! The instructor shared with us that we would more than likely never see one of those in homes - technology just won't be there during our lifetimes to accomplish that! Then in about my 10th year of marriage we bought one for a little less than $500 to go into our new home we had just built in Jamestown, Ohio. It was large in size - about 2' x 1' x 1', and it wasn't too much longer that they became smaller and sold for about one quarter the price we paid for our large cumbersome unit!

And so it goes for my life....it's all good! We just keep getting better and I am determined that life isn't going to leave me behind! So, I am constantly taking courses to better my knowledge of all these new computer helps and benefits and that keeps me busy!

So, here I am - creating my blog...won't my children be amazed!
